WhatsApp Broadcasts

The WhatsApp Broadcasts allows you to send WhatsApp messages to targeted contact groups using predefined templates and optional fallback channels.

In this section, you can:

  • Create Broadcasts – Initiate WhatsApp broadcasts with configurable settings.

  • Select Recipients – Define target recipients.

  • Configure Channels – Select the WhatsApp template and source number for the message.

  • Review and Submit – Verify selected recipients, review unsubscribed contacts, and confirm channel settings.

Before You Begin

Before creating a WhatsApp broadcast, ensure you have the following:

  • A List or Segment of Contacts – Required to select message recipients. If you haven’t added contacts, see Quickstart with Contacts.

  • A WhatsApp Template – Required for the WhatsApp channel to define message content and formatting. If you haven’t created one, see Quickstart with WhatsApp Templates.

  • A Verified WhatsApp Business Account – Required to send messages using an approved WhatsApp number. To verify your account, visit WhatsApp Integration.
