Call forwarding

DIDWW call forwarding service allows incoming calls to be redirected or forwarded from one phone number to another. This service enables users to ensure that they never miss important calls, even if they are not available at their primary phone number. This mechanism is available for local in-country calls only.

Call tracking

Call tracking is a system that attributes incoming calls to specific marketing campaigns or sources, helping businesses understand which advertising efforts generate leads and customers.

Diversion routing

Diversion routing is a feature that allows calls to be redirected or rerouted to an alternative destination under specific conditions. DIDWW uses the Diversion Routing mechanism to forward inbound calls from the DIDWW phone numbers to any PSTN numbers using the Diversion Header. This mechanism empowers call tracking providers and enterprises to forward their calls to PSTN locally within the country.

Requirements

Customer’s equipment must support the diversion header <https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc5806>_ functionality. Customers must use the DIDWW phone numbers with Outbound Voice capability. Customers must have Outbound Voice trunks enabled on their DIDWW account.

Once these requirements are met and an Outbound Voice trunk has been created, customers should contact DIDWW Technical Support at support@didww.com to enable the diversion routing mechanism

How it works

Customers of DIDWW are required to use DIDWW phone numbers. When an incoming call is sent to customer’s equipment using a SIP trunk, DIDWW adds a diversion header with the value of the called phone number. For example:

Diversion <sip:+18001234567@sip.didww.com>;reason=unconditional

When a customer uses a DIDWW Outbound Voice trunk for call forwarding to the PSTN, the customer’s equipment must send this diversion header to the DIDWW outbound trunk gateway (out.didww.com). DIDWW will screen the diversion header and match it against our routing mechanism to determine the best route.
