# General Settings

Configure the general settings for the **phone.systems(TM)** interface.

---

## Language

Select a language for the **phone.systems(TM)** user interface and click **Save**. The available options are:

> - **English**
> - **French**
> - **Spanish**
> - **Portuguese**
> - **Lithuanian**
> - **Latvian**

The selected language stays in effect after you reload the page or sign in again. It also applies to:

> - Dates, including month and weekday names.
> - Column names and values in CDR CSV exports.
> - System notification emails, such as delivery failure, access revoked, and CRM integration failure notifications.

---

## System Time Zone

Set the system time zone to be used for routing calls when the **System Time Zone** option is selected in the [Time
Router](../Call-flows/objects/time-router.html#ps3-object-time-router) object.

The system time zone is also the default option for [Time Schedules](../Time-schedules/index.html#ps3-time-schedules).

---

## System emails

Set the email address that will be used to send notifications about specific events occurring in the
**phone.systems(TM)** account.

Note

This is a **mandatory field**. A valid email address **must** be provided to save the general settings.

Follow the guide in the [Emails section](../Contact-methods/emails.html#ps3-creating-emails) to set up an email contact
method.

System notifications are sent when:

1. **A delivery method's access is revoked**
: - If a cloud storage delivery method (**Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive**) gets the [Access
Revoked](../Delivery-methods/delivery-methods.html#ps3-re-authorizing) status, the system sends an email notification.
2. **A delivery fails**
: - If the system detects a failed delivery to a configured delivery method, it sends an email notification.
       - If failures continue, follow-up emails are sent every 24 hours.
