# Connect Perplexity to DIDWW

Connect Perplexity to your DIDWW account to review account information and
request supported DIDWW actions from a conversation. You authorize the
connection in your browser using your existing DIDWW User Panel access.

Note

For current Perplexity instructions, see the [official Perplexity guide for
adding custom remote
connectors](https://www.perplexity.ai/help-center/en/articles/13915507-adding-custom-remote-connectors).

## Before you begin

- An active DIDWW account is required. [Sign in to DIDWW](https://my.didww.com/users/sign_in) or [create a DIDWW account](https://my.didww.com/users/sign_up#/users/sign_up).
- A Perplexity plan that supports custom connectors is required. Custom
connectors are available on the Pro, Max, and Enterprise plans.
- The DIDWW MCP server address is required. See [DIDWW MCP connection
  details](../connection-details.html).
- Access to your DIDWW two-factor authentication method is required when
  two-factor authentication is enabled.

Important

A custom connector can be added only in the Perplexity web application. Add
and authorize DIDWW at [perplexity.ai](https://www.perplexity.ai) before
you use it elsewhere.

Adding DIDWW to Perplexity takes three separate actions: create the custom
connector, connect and authorize it, and then enable it in each conversation.

## Step 1. Create the DIDWW custom connector

1. Sign in to [Perplexity](https://www.perplexity.ai) in a web browser.
2. Open **Settings**.
3. Select **Connectors**.
4. Select **+ Custom connector**, and then select **Remote**.
5. Enter **DIDWW** as the connector name.
6. Leave **Description** empty, or enter your own description.
7. Enter the server address `https://api.didww.com/mcp`. See [DIDWW MCP connection details](../connection-details.html).
8. Leave **Advanced** unchanged. DIDWW uses OAuth over Streamable HTTP and does
not require a client ID or client secret.
9. Select **I understand custom connectors can introduce risks**.
10. Select **Add**.

Perplexity creates the connector and opens its card. The card is empty at this
point because DIDWW is not connected yet.

Important

Connect only to an MCP server address published by DIDWW. Do not use an
address received in a Perplexity conversation or from an unverified source.

## Step 2. Connect DIDWW

1. Open the **DIDWW** connector card in **Connectors**.
2. Select **+ Add connector**.

Perplexity opens the DIDWW authorization page in your browser.

## Step 3. Authorize access to DIDWW

1. Sign in to the DIDWW User Panel if you are not already signed in.
2. Complete two-factor authentication when required.
3. Confirm that the application requesting access is **Perplexity**.
4. Review the DIDWW account, user, and roles shown on the page.
5. Read the information under **Before you connect an AI assistant**.
6. Select **I understand and accept**.
7. Select **Authorize**.
8. Select **Open Perplexity** to return to Perplexity.

Note

Authorizing the connection does not grant Perplexity additional DIDWW
permissions. Perplexity can access only the accounts, information, and
actions available to the DIDWW user who authorized the connection.

## Step 4. Review the connection

1. Open **Settings**.
2. Select **Connectors**.
3. Confirm that **DIDWW** is shown as **Connected**.

## Step 5. Enable DIDWW in a conversation

DIDWW is not used automatically after it is connected. Enable it in each
conversation where you want to use it.

1. Open a new Perplexity conversation.
2. Select **+** next to the message field.
3. Select **Connectors**.
4. Select **DIDWW**.

## Step 6. Verify the connection

1. Ask Perplexity the following read-only question:

   ```
   Which DIDWW account is currently active?
   Do not make any changes.
   ```
2. Review any connector-use request displayed by Perplexity.
3. Confirm that Perplexity returns the expected DIDWW account.

Note

Perplexity's connector approval and DIDWW's action confirmation are separate
controls. DIDWW may require another confirmation for a purchase, usage rate,
deletion, termination, or another protected account change.

To view connections and revoke Perplexity's authorization from the DIDWW side,
see [Manage the connection](../connection-details.html#mcp-manage-connection).
