# Identity Object

Identity Object attributes.

## Attributes

| last\_name | `string` | Last name of identity. |
| phone\_number | `string` | Phone number of identity. |
| id\_number | `string` | The ID number of identity. |
| birth\_date | `DateTime` | The birth date of identity. |
| company\_name | `string` | Company name of identity. |
| company\_reg\_number | `string` | Company Registration number of identity. |
| vat\_id | `string` | The VAT ID of identity. |
| description | `string` | The friendly description of identity. |
| personal\_tax\_id | `string` | The personal tax number of identity. |
| external\_reference\_id | `string` | Identifier in external customer's system. |
| verified | `boolean` | Displays if Identity is verified. |
| contact\_email | `string` | Contact email address of identity. |
| identity\_type | `string` | One of the following: `any, personal` or `business`. |

| birth\_country | to-one | [Country Object](../../coverage-resources/countries/country-object.html#country-object-v34). Specifies the birth country for the identity. In version `2026-04-16`, it is managed separately from `country`. |
| proofs | to-many | [Proofs Object](../proofs/proofs-object.html#proofs-object-v34). Returns the proofs assigned to the identity. |
| addresses | to-many | [Addresses Object](../addresses/address-object.html#addresses-object-v34). Returns the addresses assigned to the identity. |
| permanent\_documents | to-many | [Permanent Documents Object](../permanent-documents/permanent-documents-object.html#permanent-documents-object-v34). Returns the permanent documents assigned to the identity. |
