# Cities

Use the Cities resource to retrieve cities available in the DIDWW inventory.

A city represents a local geographic area used by Coverage Resources. City records can be
used to filter related resources such as DID Groups and Available DIDs.

## Endpoints

Retrieves all cities available in the DIDWW inventory.

## Common city use cases

| Use case | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Filter DID inventory by city | Use city IDs to retrieve DID Groups available for a specific city. |
| Search local coverage | Find cities where DIDWW provides local geographic coverage. |
| Check DID availability | Use cities with DID Groups or Available DIDs to check whether DID numbers are available for purchase in a selected city. |
| Narrow coverage by country or region | Combine city filters with country or region filters to refine coverage searches. |
